Venemaal Tveri lähedal Buraševos suri 18.01.1956. aastal Eesti Vabariigi esimene president Konstantin Päts. Nimetuna maamullas puhanud president jõudis koju tagasi veerand sajandit tagasi. 21. oktoobril 1990. aastal sängitati ta Tallinnas Metsakalmistul viimaks kodumulda.
