7. May Thy Face Look Backward — The Way Out Is Behind Them and Something Is Standing in Front of It

Egyptian mythology horror podcast Long Night in Egypt reaches its penultimate episode — the way out exists, but it is not unguarded.

In the Pyramid Texts, the phrase "may thy face look backward" is a protective spell — a command to look back toward the living world rather than forward into the dark of the Duat. The students have found what they believe is the path back to the physical pyramid. The tunnel ahead leads upward. The air is different. And standing in the tunnel, between them and the way out, is something that has been following them since the door locked.
