141: Takeover, shmakeover

Will Pugh and James Jones stop by for another quick chat in the middle of the summer break.
 
 The lads cover England’s Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy at Wembley that Jonesy was lucky enough to attend.

 

West Ham’s wonderful new kit gets a mention as do Michail Antonio, Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals’ shirt number switches.

 

The lads run through some of the recent transfer rumours – namely Jesse Lingard’s return from Man Utd, Tammy Abraham’s potential arrival from Chelsea and the prospective departures of Jarrod Bowen and Issa Diop.

 

Will also gives a run down of his exclusive story regarding Felipe Anderson’s departure to Lazio and the subsequent funds that have been freed up as a result and how the club will have those available to them in negotiations with Declan Rice.

 

Takeover rumours have surfaced again which the boys evaluate before wrapping up with a summary of the Irons’ pre-season friendlies so far.

 Podcasts will be every fortnight from here until the beginning of the season when normal weekly service will resume.
