Our inspiring guest today is Heidi Cave. Tune in as she tells us about how she survived a traumatic car accident at age 22, which put her in a drug-induced coma for two weeks. Heidi lost her friend on impact but while she waited for help the car caught on fire. Her legs and half her torso received 3rd to 4th degree burns. It took her seven months to recover. As a result of the accident she became a double amputee, and after 18 years she is still determined, which has allowed her to push through.
The last caller Laurie has a daughter who recently left an abusive relationship and wants to help, but it seems to be taking all her times and is finding it hard to communicate. Hear how Nancy advices her on ways to help get her daughter back on her feet so she won’t depend on her so much and can get her life back.
