This is the 11th edition of Track Snacks – a mini-series taking you into the weekend where Chris Chavez and a CITIUS MAG staffer or friend share the story of an athlete who they're excited about right now that you can expect to see compete at the World Athletics Championships Oregon22 (July 15–24, 2022).

For this episode, we're joined by Katelyn Hutchison to discuss the dominance of Karsten Warholm. He is the two-time World 400m hurdles champion and Olympic champion from Norway. 2021 was the best season of his career as he twice broke the world record of 46.78 held by USA's Kevin Young since 1992. Warholm ran 46.70 to break it on July 1 and then ran one of the best races in history with a 45.94 in the final at the Tokyo Games. We discuss his road to greatness and how it all started with the multi-events at a young age in Norway.
