Digital Debrief: Online resources for self-development

One of the things I’ve always loved about working in general is learning and self-development. Even when I worked in the hospitality industry, I was always first to volunteer for first aid courses and management training. I just love the opportunity to learn more about a subject and add more skills to my repertoire. The great thing about freelancing is that you no longer need to get your training and development plan signed off by your boss, because you are the boss. Yes, you’ll need to invest your own time and money but it all goes towards making you more knowledgeable and qualified within your industry. This year I’ve invested more money than ever in training and development and I’ve definitely seen a direct impact on my income and my ability to juggle my work life balance.
