EU Elects a Federalist President

This week the EU elects Jean-Claude Juncker as the next president of the European Commission, the EU's top job. Mr. Juncker is described as an arch-federalist, who wants to bring Europe closer together. During the financial crisis his actions by many were considered undemocratic.
