Where does that acceptance that you long for come from? In today's episode, I'm talking about finding acceptance for yourself, within. That's where it starts as a adult. Hopefully, you received it as a child, but many people simply didn't. Your brain was somewhat undeveloped, and you took in ideas about yourself and your worth from people who could not see you, in all your beauty. Maybe, they had problems of their own.
Now is the time to become your own best friend, and I give you insights into how to become accepting of yourself so that you feel secure and feel confident within yourself every day. It begins with acceptance.

"You can't cherry pick the qualities you like or love in someone," she says, "It's the whole package. You have to make peace with those challenging qualities and attempt to extend empathy and compassion to them, or get out. You cannot be in a healthy relationship where you are constantly trying to change someone."
