Aaron Goodwin is best known for his role as a cameraman/ghost hunter on the popular show Ghost Adventures. In 2024, Goodwin’s wife, Victoria, began plotting to kill her husband with Florida inmate Grant Amato, who was sentenced to life in prison for killing his family.

Friends and followers saw them as a happy, private couple, though investigators later said their marriage became strained during 2024. Victoria became interested in Grant Amato's case after watching the documentary Ctrl+Alt+Desire and began to communicate with him. Together, they hatched a plot to have Aaron killed.
