Who is Marc?
As the charming Irish man as he is, Marc found his way to New York about 17 years ago where he now lives helping clients find out about the benefits from a compassionate, healthy and mindful life. He stopped eating meat at age 23 when he went to see an animal rights convention in Earls Court, London, where he for the first time became aware of the suffering and cruelty animals are subjected to. After eventually meeting a vegan friend several years later, who educated him on the dangers of dairy and the cruelty that industry, it was an easy step to skip the T in vegetarian and go fully vegan.
From volunteering at the Hospice of New York, Marc witnessed people suffering from a lot of diseases, which got him thinking about why so many people in the western world die from cancers and heart-related problems. He began educating himself on the causes of such diseases and studied the T Colin Campbell course on Plant-Based diet through Cornell University. Today he's a certified Family Health Coach and helps others by going into their homes and giving lessons on how to cook tasty and nutritious plant-based meals.

SOME TIPS FROM THE EPISODE:
Getting enough iron: The body itself can’t absorb the iron so in order to benefit from the food you eat, you need to combine iron with vitamin C. Lentils are high on both protein and iron and a yummy tip is to make a dish with lentils and mango. The vitamin C in the mango will help pick up the iron in the lentils, and you get to enjoy a healthy, delicious dish!
Easy breakfast for vegan beginners: Scrambled tofu in the morning! Similar to scrambled eggs in looks and flavor. Scramble the tofu with nutritional yeast and turmeric for flavor and color.
