Remaining Needs for the Carolina Panthers following the 2024 NFL Draft

The Carolina Panthers crossed off several boxes during the 2024 NFL Draft but still have several holes on the roster that will need to be addressed. While Carolina added DB Chau Smith-Wade over the weekend, Smith-Wade is expected to play the nickel role for Carolina as opposed to being an outside CB. 

The Panthers also went through the draft without adding to the offensive line, in particular at center. Julian Council discusses the team's remaining needs as it heads into the next stage of the offseason. 

One player who could immediately fix the Panthers depth issues at outside corner is Stephon Gilmore. Panthers GM Dan Morgan has mentioned Gilmore several times when asked about addressing the concerns in the secondary. Is it time for the Panthers to bring Gilmore into the fold?

The Panthers seven draft picks aren't the only new additions as Carolina begins to sign undrafted free agents. Julian reveals which signings he believes may have a chance to make the roster.
