This week Seth and Bill take a look at United States Navy submarine special operations in the Pacific during World War II. Beginning during the fall of the Philippines in 1942, American subs carried in ammunition and supplies while simultaneously ferrying out military and civilian personnel. Until October 1944, submarine special ops in the Philippine area kept the local Filipino guerillas in supply and retrieved invaluable intel. The guys also talk about USS Trout's famous "gold run" and the recovery of Japanese ADM Koga's Z Plan.
