Season 2 Episode 12 – The Beauty of the Local Church on the Mission Field with Nycki Heisler
Introduction to Episode:During episode 12 of season 2, one thing that we're going to be talking about today is a missionary in the Czech Republic and how she sees the Great Commission at work in her own ministry. We discuss questions about the beauty of the local church on mission. We highlight several questions such as what does it mean to live the Great Commission? Why does the Great Commission matter?.
Co-Host: Rev. Nycki Heisler serves along with her family as a missionary in the Czech Republic. She is ordained in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She has a deep passion to see revival in Czechia even though it is currently the most atheistic nation in all of Europe. She serves in a Czech church called ESK as a preacher, teacher, leader and mentor. She and her family are involved in several outreach ministries in partnership with local churches and Josiah Venture. These ministries reach out to both students and adults through the formation of choirs, which become communities made up of a few members of the local church as well as many non-believers. Nycki is especially excited about developing Czech Christian leaders so that they are prepared to lead when the Holy Spirit pours out revival fire in this region.

World Outreach with the EPCis the mission sending agency of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Our principal calling is to glorify God by starting disciple-making movements among least-reached people groups, especially among Muslims.
ITEN- is training trainers who will equip their own people to live on mission for the Glory of God among the unreached. We live in an age of theological famine. As the gospel continues to spread throughout the globe there is an ever-increasing need to develop emerging leaders for the church. False teachers, syncretism, and persecution all threaten to destroy Kingdom work and ITEN is committed to stemming the tide.
