Melvin Jackson Jr Interview – Black Hollywood Live’s Next

In this episode, Black Hollywood Live hosts Jessica King and Nick Perdue interview special guest Melvin Jackson Jr.

Melvin was born on April 4th, 1981 in Washington D.C., and now resides in Los Angeles. Best known as Bernard on the HBO series "The Wire" and as The Bully on The CW's "Everybody Hates Chris."

A young, talented actor, Melvin also does Stand Up Comedy at venues around Los Angeles. He wrote a poetry Book, as well as several Screen Plays. In his work as President and CEO of Urban Vision Entertainment, Melvin has collaborated on Film and Television Productions.
When asked "if you could only be known for one thing, what would it be?" Melvin replies "to be known as a great businessman, period."

Melvin started in the entertainment business as a Model and Music Manager at the age of 19. He has creatively assisted Musical Recording Artists such as Tank, Tonya Blount, Jay-Z, Freeway & Benzino, and several others.
