Liverpool have eight senior midfielders as things stand - Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - and are not expected to buy anyone else after tying up a deal for back-up right-back Calvin Ramsay.
