Ep75: Ox names ’The OZ City with the Most Beautiful People’ & calls a Pod Member ’Jack the Ripper’

The show starts today with Marko pumping up his own tyres over his coffee making ability, and Ox has been watching a show called The Bear which reminds him of Marko. We then discuss personalities with names that lend themselves to rhyming slang

A funny incident this week. Ox has had the new rangehood he bought from e&s trading delivered, and the delivery company (not e&s) spelt his surname incorrectly. Ox reacts exactly as you'd expect. Marko raves about the reno that Ox has done in Wodonga. Ox has a new neighbour who is intriguing. He explains.

We discuss the saying 'Don't Judge a Book by its Cover'. Ox rates it, Marko disagrees and 'judges books by their covers'. Ox tells us about when he had a stalker.. It wasn't good. Third Man asks if the boys have seen the movie 'Play Misty For Me', and old 70s movie - see the trailer here. Ox has found a new item on Temu that he has ordered. It sounds ridiculous. Marko thinks it might be worth purchasing one.

Third Man raises a first world problem. He is annoyed, and wants to vent. We discuss heated and cooling seats in cars - Ox and Marko big fans. Ox the Statman is back. He did well last week after being suspended for bad behaviour for presenting facts masquerading as stats. How does he go this week? Actually pretty good! Following the stat this week, this movie comes up...it's a ripper.

We discuss fears and phobias. We each reveal ours on the pod.

Channel 7 News have started a new segment on horoscopes in the news. We discuss if it's a good idea - spoiler alert, it's not. Marko reckons the new 7 News Director has jumped the shark. He also thinks that free to air TV is on the way out. We discuss the free to air shows that we watch and love.

Ox wants to chat about psychics. He's listening to a podcast called 'Paradise' which is about psychics and derailing a police investigation. He talks us about what happened on this particular podcast. Fascinating.

Feedback today. Leads to a big claim from Ox - the Australian city with the most beautiful people. Marko agrees with him. Which city? Ox explains on the pod. And there is a whack from family member John for Ox! Not that we want to get political....but Marko tries to convince Ox's 'Surprise Party' to run for Melbourne Lord Mayor. Mark thinks job-sharing could be good.

Before the joke, Third Man gives Ox and Marko homework - what is one question you could ask someone, and their answer will identify whether they are a good person or not. Their 'one question' next week on the pod.
