[Season finale] My experience in Nairobi

In the final episode of the first season, I dive deep into my 3 week trip to Nairobi. I share some of my favorite things about the city as well as the things that were lacking. Everything from the food, the weather, even the nightlife is touched upon but the highlight of this episode is my thoughts on the social dynamics between Kenyan woman and Kenyan men, specifically Nairobi. I 'creatively' unpack the gender issues we face in our daily lives using the Kenyan society as a backdrop, exploring feminism, patriarchy and everything in between. I also explore the differences between how Kenyan women and Nigerian woman, handle the suffering they've endured in their respective societies. The episode is rapped with an intimate conversation between myself and Kenyan interior designer, Makena Obura.
