Just when Holmes concludes that St. Clair has met a tragic end, the man's wife produces proof that her husband is still alive. Determined to uncover the truth, Holmes and Watson embark on an early morning journey through the English countryside which ends in a grimy London jail cell. There, they confront the mysterious beggar, Hugh Boone and make a shocking discovery. But as the mystery surrounding St. Clair’s disappearance unravels, Sherlock is faced with a moral dilemma…
