They both advocate for the use of force for the "greater good", but often the "greater good" means waging war in Yemen, or forcing Americans to take a vaccine that is bad for them individually, but MIGHT be good for the country as a whole. In a society based on self-government, these policies are in direct conflict with the goal of individual liberty and the foundations of private property, which is derived from your right to control your own body.
