God only shows His mercy to those who FEAR and trust Him, ultimately, eternally. His promises, His blessings are conditional, not un-conditional. Those who love and fear God, obey God (Ecclesiastes 12:13; John 14:15). "Great is his mercy toward THEM THAT FEAR HIM." (Psalms 103:11)
