Kate Flannery Serves Up Scares

The first thing you realize about Kate Flannery, besides her sense of humor and her ability to crack you up, is her unbridled enthusiasm. Her go-get-em attitude served her well on-set playing Loretta, the lunch lady in the new indie horror/comedy film, “The Prank,” which opens in theaters March 15. Kate talks about her love of portraying oddball characters like Meredith Palmer, whom she played for all nine seasons of NBC’s hit show, “The Office.” She also shares her feelings on being back in high school in her new movie as well as sharing the screen with none other than the legendary Rita Moreno.
