Life hasn't always been easy, a lot of twists and turns but this didn't put Katy off from pursuing her goals, it made her stronger!

She talks about a major turning point in her life where she and her partner lost everything. She went from having everything to only having 38 pence in her pocket with 2 children to look after whilst her partners mother was diagnosed with cancer.

She also opens up about her spiritual awakening, synchronicities and angel numbers.

“I am so grateful that there is a higher power guiding me.”

Katy volunteers for Restore Academy and volunteers on a course which aims to get BAME and women into the restoration industry.

“It feels very good to go from feeling like an unconfident imposter Restorer to becoming a trained skilled Restorer teaching others a trade that will allow them independence and job satisfaction.”
