This is the unabridged interview I recorded with Walter Koenig, who portrayed Ensign Pavel Pavel Chekov on Star Trek: the Original Series and in the major motion pictures that it inspired. Koenig has written several books over the years. His most recent book is a far-reaching and illuminating memoir titled "Beaming Up and Getting Off: Life Before and Beyond Star Trek," published by Jacobs Brown Press.
