In this episode I chat with Zak Moradi who fled his home country of Kurdistan of Iraq in 2002 to Ireland.
He talks about growing up on a refugee camp in Saddam Hussein's Iraqi regime and how that compared to life in Carrick - on- Shannon in county Leitrim when he first arrived in Ireland. Zak gives a great insight into Kurdish history and indeed the history of Middle Eastern politics in general.
