Michael returns from his birthday getaway in time to join Hanako, Lorrie, and Anthony to discuss S2E3 of A Discovery of Witches. In the present day, a violent murder gives Domenico some bargaining power with Gerbert, as we learn a little background into their strained acquaintanceship. Emily seeks answers, but gets one she does not expect. Back in 1590, Matthew seeks forgiveness for a recent transgression. Diana trains with Goody Alsop and discovers a little more about her powers. Matthew and Diana discover the possible location of Ashmole 782. Cecil discovers the reason for Matthew's recent sympathies towards the witches. Matthew and Diana are first summoned to Court to meet with Queen Elizabeth, and then later receive a summons from Phillippe to return to Sept-Tours. Diana receives yet another warning about the danger of Matthew becoming someone else.
