Ep 70: Molly Hatchet, Part Two: The Current Lineup (1990 - 2024)

This is Part Two of Play That Rock n' Roll's retrospective about the legendary Southern Rock band, Molly Hatchet. In this episode, we cover the latter days of the band, their new direction under guitarist Bobby Ingram, and what they are up to today. We also discuss their turn towards heavier "Southern metal" music in the 2000s, the lead singers that took over for Danny Joe Brown, and even the band's controversial relationship with the confederate flag. We also pay tribute to all of the men who played in this band that are no longer with us today.

To give further insight into some of the topics covered, I have included clips from conversation with Kerrang! magazine writer Xavier Russell, who covered Molly Hatchet extensively in the early '80s.
