Host Erez Shek sat down this week to speak with Dr. Angelica Pinna-Perez, a trauma aware and culturally affirming psychotherapist, educator and social action activist. She is the founder of The Cervitude Coalition 501(c)(3), a non-profit increasing access to quality holistic mental health care. A fierce advocate for equity in holistic mental health care, she centers anti-colonial re-imaginings in order to amplify its healing impact on people and communities living with complex collective trauma.

In this episode, we embrace conversations surrounding equity in health care systems, educational systems and judicial systems. Exploring how decolonization can assist us to truly tackle racism and the systemic issues that feed our need to redefine our evolution and be truly r/Evolutionary.

Our ability and desire to question not only things around us, but also question ourselves becomes a powerful internal tool that naturally becomes an external power.
