Research from the Boston Consulting Group indicates that women are twice as likely as men to have primary or sole responsibility for cooking, cleaning, childcare and education during the pandemic. This doesn’t leave a lot of time for work. Likewise, many women are concerned that these increased responsibilities may adversely affect their long-term career prospects because of a perceived inability by their employers to handle the workload.
