1973 Murphysboro Illinois. Up to now, this town wasn’t famous for much except maybe it’s almost 100% mud river. But on this year it would be known for an entirely different reason. All over town there were sightings of something terrifying and otherworldly. Something born of the mud. Moulded by it.
