We begin with the heroics of Macclesfield, who knocked out Crystal Palace to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup. Jonathan calls it “a beautiful reminder of what football can be.”

Attention then turns to another defeat for Tottenham Hotspur and we ask how much time Thomas Frank has left after Spurs bow out of what looks like their final chance at a trophy this season. 

Next, we turn our attention to Manchester United. Darren Fletcher has been appointed interim manager, but we ask who the right choice would be to take charge over a longer period, through to the end of the season.

Finally, we assess Viktor Gyökeres’s form and some of the data that suggests he might not quite be at Premier League level.
