THE CHURCH OF THYATIRA

The name Thyatira means "the odour of affliction". Here, Jesus has his eyes as flame of fire and his feet as fine brass. Silver means the process of judgment and Brass also speaks of the verdict of judgment. At Thyatira, the overcomer is given the Morning Star and Rod of iron to rule.
