Episode 197-Part 1: Target’s Pride Collection and DeSantis Presidential Bid, Part 2: The Debt Ceiling Debate

In the first half of this week's National Crawford Roundtable podcast we discuss Target's Pride Collection and display.  We also look at Governor Ron DeSantis' Presidential Bid which is expected to be announced later today, Wednesday, May 24, 2023.  In Part 2 the guys talk about the Debt Ceiling debate.  Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says the U.S. will run out of money on June 1st if the debt ceiling isn't raised so we can borrow more money.  This is called a "Default" and has never occurred in U.S. history.  What would this mean?  Democrats want the debt ceiling raised with no conditions, Republicans say they will agree to raise the debt ceiling as long as spending is reduced in some areas and kept at 2022 levels for most other spending.  So, what should happen?
