[463] Detroit Lions Setting The Table – Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff are back with the latest Detroit Lions rumors and news. The boys took a much-needed vacation after the frenetic pace of the Senior Bowl. Now that the Detroit Lions Podcast crew is back in the saddle, its time to set the table for the Detroit Lions off-season. Expectations are high for the Detroit Lions and there’s a lot going on in Allen Park to prepare for the 2023 NFL season.

Detroit Lions Podcast Setting The Table

The first topic Chris and Jeff cover is the changes going on with the Detroit Lions coaching staff. There are some changes, some quick interviews, and a whole lot of shuffling going on these days. We’ll talk about Scottie Montgomery’s situation as well as the balance of the coaching staff. There is more to come in that space, so keep your eyes open. The guys also talk about the off-season hype the team is getting nationally. Its finally real in Detroit, and expectations to perform have been set across the league. Forget about playing in big Sunday night games, this is the chance for the Detroit Lions to prove that they are in this to win this.

We’ll also talk about some of the young players on the team., their growth, and what to look for in improvements in 2024. The tough reality is that this team is going to start letting a lot of good players go, and maximizing their young talent will remain a key part of this team’s success going forward.  We’ll touch on free agency and the draft this week with a really big show on those topics hitting next week. Stay tuned, and buckle up!
