Friday Mailbag: Should the Carolina Panthers consider trading up into the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft?

Next Friday, the Carolina Panthers will officially be on the clock for pick number 33 of the 2024 NFL Draft. But could Carolina decide to not wait until Friday to make a selection? The Panthers gave up their first round pick in order to trade up for Bryce Young in last year's draft. What followed was a miserable 2-15 season and the Panthers now missing out on the top overall pick in 2024. Should the Panthers be aggressive and trade up into the first round to select an immediate difference maker?

While there's an appetite from fans to trade up into the first round, would it be more prudent for Carolina to trade one of its second round picks for more draft compensation? It's been noted that the Panthers have needs all over the roster. Would it be the best for the Panthers ongoing rebuild to get more bites at the apple this draft?
