In Centerville, Texas, a 911 operator receives a call from a man named Gerald Wilhelm who reports, in a strangely calm voice, that he just woke up from a nap and found his wife, Janice, dead, in a pool of blood, in the same room where he was sleeping. Gerald claims she must have taken her own life by shooting herself and local law enforcement quickly rules Janice’s death a suicide. However, Janice’s children, Wayne Robeson and Jennifer Davis, can find no physical evidence to support that ruling.
