Myanmar *formally known as Burma* is in a state of civil war. Its been in civil war since the year 2021. The civil war, like all civil wars, is a brutal conflict. A central military government versus a bunch of ethnic groups across the country.

The region is strategic to both India and China as well as the ASEAN countries.
