The College Football Playoff having automatic byes for conference champions with three losses is a joke. Further, a conference champion should not receive a bye if the starting quarterback cannot raise his right arm.

The College Football Playoff Committee must change next year’s rankings system despite the efforts to have every region of the country represented toward the top of the bracket to appease advertisers and the almighty dollar.
