Please welcome Priscilla Bulcha to the podcast! In this episode, Priscilla shares about her journey to lose weight for the last time, what it was like working on self-acceptance and self-love to lose weight, and what her journey has been like up to this point.
In her 20s, she used food and alcohol as a way to buffer and deal with difficult emotions that were buried. And now in her early 30s, she decided it was time to tackle weight loss from a different perspective.
She shares with us her fear of not reaching the goal at the end of the first six months of working together, letting go of the stories around the number on the scale, and the mental and emotional weight that comes with this journey.
She also talks about the importance of normalizing big feelings no matter what's going on, the work of creating safety for emotions, learning how to not emotionally eat or drink, and being in integrity with yourself.
You'll listen to this one and want to re-listen right away. So go ahead and give it a go!
