140: Mary Frances Gregory: Las Vegas, Nevada

In February of 1978, nineteen-year-old Mary Frances Gregory left Ontario for what was supposed to be a road trip to California. But she never made it.
The man traveling with her later said they crossed the United States together before he left Mary at a bus station in Las Vegas. 
But there’s a problem. Almost everything we know about Mary’s final days comes from him. No confirmed bus ticket. No verified sighting in Las Vegas. No arrival in California. And nearly fifty years later, we still don’t know where along that journey Mary actually disappeared.
