Donald Trump is reportedly breaking with tradition and inviting foreign leaders to his inauguration on January 20. No foreign leader has attended a US presidential inauguration since at least 1874. But this time, Trump has extended an invite to Chinese president Xi Jinping. Trump is preparing for a trade war with China after he takes office. But he is still inviting Xi to the US. Is this Trump's attempt to be courteous? Or is he just trying to keep his enemies close?
