Caoimhin Kelleher the shootout saviour as the Irishman helps Liverpool win the cup tie following a dramatic late Takumi Minamino equaliser!

Hello and welcome to the post game podcast, and wow, I think we all need a long sit down after that one so settle down with us as we bring you all the reaction from a cup tie to remember at Anfield!

The visitors fielded a strong XI who had been rested for 10 days, and immediately put the much-changed youthful Liverpool side under the cosh scoring twice through Jamie Vardy.

A stunning strike from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ignited the tie for the home side, and after Diogo Jota pulled another one back in the second half the reds were chasing a third goal and equaliser.

It would take until the last minute of the game, when Takumi Minamino came through with a clutch chest control and finish to send the reds into a shootout.

And uo stepped Kelleher, with two breathtaking penalty saves, which allowed Diogo Jota to slot home the winner for the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are into the semis for the first time since 2017, and will face Arsenal for a place at Wembley.
