This week I had an incredible chat with Emma Haslam from Your IVF Abroad and we talked all things IVF and fertility and how to manage the process at work.
Having IVF treatment can be difficult emotionally and physically - the toll on your body can be really challenging to manage, especially when you you have a busy job and you're juggling home life. Having an understanding and supportive line manager that can show empathy towards someone undergoing this treatment is important but seems to be a rarety at the moment. Equally having a company who has a policy in place for taking leave for appointments or sick leave is so helpful as women and manage manage the process.
