“A Magnificence Of Hair”: Everton Review & Deadline Day

In this episode, Peter and RG reflect on the Everton defeat and the fact that it is “another transfer window, another failure to sign a striker (oven ready!)“.

Yes the transfer window has been SLAMMED shut, as aggressively as always (apparently!) and the club HAVE made some signings…just not that elusive first team ready striker we’ve craved these past few months. The chaps discuss how painfully exposed that leaves us in one very vital area of the pitch, in terms of squad depth and they peruse the rest of the significant transfer activity ‘this window’ to see who will be visiting The Amex this season.

Anyway, with Guendouzi and Luiz long gone, we do now have as a consolation the player with easily the biggest hair in the PL. So welcome Marc “Cuckoo” Cucurella.
