Today's word of the day is 'headhunting' as in the Yankees and Rays now have some big time beef. Aroldis Chapman threw a 101 mph pitch at a Rays players' head and that was enough. Benches cleared after the game. And Rays manager Kevin Cash did NOT hold back with his comments on the Yankees (0:06). What about the old Yankees rivals? We're talking Boston Red Sox. What did they do yesterday to stir the pot with their fan base? Well, they tweeted out a meme about the 'reset' of the luxury tax. Uh oh. Let's talk about the troubles of that tweet and what exactly the luxury tax is (8:15). What happens when a manager is 'blindsided' by a trade? Detroit Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire said that happened to him in the Cameron Maybin trade (17:47). Review - Bill & Ted Face The Music (24:30). So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Someone asked me about the title on a player of being 'injury prone' being not fair to the player, but more indicative of the medical/training staff and ownership (28:30). CONFERENCE CALL TIME! Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren received a phone call from President Donald Trump about trying to get college football this fall. WHAT?!?!? Will this play any factor in the decision to play Big Ten football this fall? Roger Goodell talked about fan in the stands again. This time it was about 'competitive advantage'. He said there is no advantage for having fans in the stands.... huh (35:30)? #waittosee
