Abby’s guest is Marjoleine Hulshof, a People & Organisation Lead with Investec Bank, an Executive Coach, Mentor, Sailor and passionate about Ocean conservation. Abby & Marjoleine discuss mentoring, which was one of the recommendations following the World Sailing Trusts Strategic Review. This is a topic that The Magenta Project has successfully implemented since 2018, having assisted over 150 female sailors through mentoring. They discuss the benefits, different types of mentoring and how it can be applied to the sailing world. Marjoleine shares her personal experiences as a Mentor as well as ‘lifting the bonnet’ on the intricacies of the role of mentoring.
