UNC’s Drake Powell continues upward trajectory | RJ Davis’ bag is getting deeper | Summer League Tar Heels

UNC Freshman Drake Powell had an opportunity last week to participate in the Jayson Tatum Elite Camp, and took full advantage. Powell was a head-turner and ALSO signed with CAA for his NIL representation last week. The star of Drake Powell is continuing to rise, and that’s good news for the Heels.

RJ Davis and Elliot Cadeau attended CP3 Elite Camp last week. More good opportunities to grow as individuals and as a backcourt duo. Davis, in particular, was pointed out for his ability to create separation for his shot. 

Seven Tar Heels will be active on NBA Summer League rosters, including recent players like Harrison Ingram (Spurs), Armando Bacot (Jazz), and Cormac Ryan (Thunder).
