Let's talk about "People Pleasing Marketing". Afraid of how they'll perceive us, we're constantly covering up our true, authentic selves with a mask on social media to fit into a certain mold.

- I get it. Creating content in today's day and age can be so damn intimidating. We're so terrified of being "cancelled". But I want to put this out there - when marketing to others, or simply existing in some way, shape or form, it is impossible to please every single person around you or in your audience. So, stop trying to. Give yourself permission to embrace what I call "Fuck the Rules Marketing", to go past the fears and start showing up more authentically. - Let me also remind you that every single rule out there was created by someone who thought they needed to fit into a certain box to get X results or be accepted and understood. But that is their path and they're not you. Stop worrying about those rules and forge your own path and way of doing things. Find your own secret sauce!
- What if you gave yourself permission to be yourself and make mistakes? To try things out and then turn around when they don't go as you expected and say, "I didn't get the result I wanted, but that's alright because now I have feedback. I'm going to try a different way." I talked about how you can realign your thinking to view experimenting and making mistakes in a more fun and empowering way.
- What stories have you always wanted to share, but never felt brave enough because you are so afraid of how you'd be perceived. I'm challenging and encouraging you to take a stance and share something that will allow your audience and your community to get to know you better. It may not look polished, professional or manicured, but if you show up in alignment and integrity to your values, it's all you will need.
