Jeff Chilton studied Ethno-mycology at the University of Washington in the late sixties and in 1973 began a 10 year career as a large scale commercial mushroom grower. Jeff is a founder of MycoMedia and is the co-author of The Mushroom Cultivator, published in 1983. In 1989 Jeff established Nammex, the first company to supply functional mushroom extracts to the Nutritional Supplement industry. And In 1997 he organized the first organic certification workshop for mushroom production in China.
