The show was an adaptation of The Skin of Our Teeth, which, for the most part, just involved throwing some songs into it. It was mostly harmless, I suppose. I’d never seen The Skin of Our Teeth and this production made me go straight home to read it so I guess it did me the service of catching me up on an American classic.
