Within these chapters we are still concentrating on King David and his "war" with his son Absolum, who King David refused to see and have a conversation with regarding the rape of his sister (with David's other son by another mother) this resulted in a "division" within David's family, which The Most High had cursed for David's insubordination and breaking of the Laws. Absolum had also had sex with King David's concubines in front of all of the kingdom in an attempt to disgrace David. For Absolum's transgressions, he dies. When David hears about losing his son Absolum, David starts to mourn his son's death.
